Career Counseling appointments for OCC students can be booked directly through platform. Students must have an active Student Handshake account to book an appointment.
- Visit to activate or create an account using your cccd.edu email address if you have not accessed the platform before
- Click on Sign-in and follow through
- Click on Schedule a New Appointment
- Select the applicable appointment type and finish scheduling your appointment
Visit the Career Center in Watson Hall, 3rd floor or call 714-432-5576 x1 for any specific questions or for other support services including internship, job search, and career readiness.
Note: Handshake is an online job and internship board with listings from local employers and businesses. All registered OCC students can activate a Handshake account. Once you claim your account you will be asked to choose your profile visibility and employment preferences and begin filling out your profile and start your job/internship search.
