Advocacy Committee

The Advocacy Committee is a branch of SGOCC that researches and advocates for local, state,

and federal legislation as it impacts the needs and concerns of students.  They represent °µÍø½ûÇø when legislative visits are organized, as well as those issues pertaining to state and regional student affairs. The Advocacy Committee is a recommending body to the Student Senate on all matters regarding the statewide student government as recognized by the California Board of Governors; local, state, and federal legislation; advocating; and related tasks. See what Student Government positions are available!
